IPR-A Consortium Gathers in Nicosia for Strategic Meeting Ahead of Project Conclusion

From April 23rd to 24th, 2025, the IPR-A consortium convened in Nicosia, Cyprus, for its second project meeting, hosted at the welcoming premises of the Center of Social Innovation. The meeting was graciously organized by project partner Inquirium, bringing together the consortium members -Tero PC (Greece), SEA – Sport Evolution Alliance (Portugal), and Inquirium (Cyprus)- for presentations, evaluations, and productive, forward-looking discussions.

Strategic Highlights from the Consortium Meeting

The event commenced with a presentation by the project coordinator Tero PC, which provided updates on both WP1 (Management and Coordination) and WP2 (Co-design Labs, Curriculum Development, and Pilots). The presentation detailed the work completed so far and outlined the final administrative and technical steps needed to successfully wrap up the project, which officially concludes at the end of June 2025.

Following this, Inquirium presented a comprehensive update on WP3 (Curriculum Delivery and Evaluation). The team shared results from the first two rounds of student seminars and outlined the ongoing strategic planning for the final round of seminars, which is still underway. The discussion included feedback from participants, logistical planning, and the approach for wrapping up WP3 activities in the coming weeks.

The meeting continued with Sport Evolution Alliance (SEA), focusing on WP4 (Dissemination & Communication). SEA reflected on the dissemination goals already achieved and introduced new strategies to broaden the project’s reach and reinforce its legacy. Emphasis was placed on maximizing engagement with the target groups and furthering awareness of the training materials and impact stories developed through IPR-A.

Concluding Remarks and Future Directions

During the closing session, all partners took part in a collaborative discussion on the final milestones of the project. Topics included reporting obligations, post-project sustainability, and ensuring that the tools, methodologies, and educational materials developed remain accessible and impactful beyond the project’s lifespan.

This meeting in Nicosia marked a significant milestone in IPR-A’s journey. It not only celebrated what has been achieved but also reinforced the shared commitment to ensuring a meaningful and lasting impact for athletes considering a career in entrepreneurship, empowered by IPR knowledge.
